How Weekly Reflections Led To My Apparel Update

how my weekly reflections led to my apparel line with Annie Miller

In my weekly reflections, I find myself repeating that I am grateful for “freedom” and “options” and “lifting weights.”

It’s no secret that when we track and reflect, we see patterns, cycles. Good or bad, it’s beneficial. My definition of “freedom” is having options. In a quote – “what I want, when I want.” Been that way for years. Lift when I want, work when I want, travel when I want, rest when I want, grind when I want, take a break when I want.

Of course this is romanticized and we need discomfort to grow. We can’t control everything. We will have to do things we DON’T want to do. And we SHOULD from time to time! Often, that’s still a CHOICE. That’s still freedom.

Most people in this world won’t have that level of freedom in their lifetime. That’s part of what makes the opportunity so precious for me. And this venture will likely take the embrace of a LONG HAUL MENTALITY.

I still can’t do what I want when I want all of the time. (And with bebe Miller coming in Nov 2022, I expect to have to surrender even more to selflessness). I don’t have health insurance. I don’t have the retirement I want. I don’t have all the options in life that I would like.

So I continue to build, to use the current options I have to get closer and closer to where I want to be. With that, like my life is better with Jesus in it, it is also better when I lift weights. And it is blatantly clear to me – silly or not, some of darkest, lightest and favorite seasons of life revolve around a barbell. I see these cycles, trends and constants in my weekly reflections. So I said “let’s drop another apparel line” Thus, I did. If you missed it, you can creep all my apparel here. The latest designs as of this post feature the following trends:

“What I want, when I want”

“Long haul mentality”

“Just lift”

And a few others. Appreciate you checking them out here or supporting through your purchase.

I’m an adventurous introvert, entrepreneur, lifter, wife, and mama from Vancouver, Washington. And, it appears I make daunting tasks more doable – specifically in fitness and program design. Here on the blog we go wider and get more personal than on any other platform. Grab a beverage and enjoy.
