Instagram is forever changing. That, we can depend on. So how do you consistently get your audience to engage despite new features, updates, and algorithms?
At the root of social media, we have COMMUNICATION. That’s in essence, what “engagement” is. Your goal is to make it as easy for your audience to engage with you as possible. I’d start with these:
1.) Always add text to stories – people aren’t generally listening
2.) Keep text in portrait box in reels so people can read it (there should be blue bumpers you run into if you drag the text boxes around).
3.) Post during a time frame you can interact with your audience – engagement drives exposure. More engagement = instagram showing your post to more and more people. If growth is your goal, you need engagement.
THREE MORE TIPS:
Leave some comments unliked or answered. Before you post the next day, go back and comment or like comments from previous posts. This has the potential to draw more humans to your page before you post again.
Keep it simple – choose ONE TOPIC or concept to discuss. Don’t overwhelm people. Be clear and get to the point.
Pick from these categories: Tutorial (in fitness, a workout or exercise breakdown)Education (breakdown a belief, method or concept) Truth bomb (take a stance on a polarizing topic – don’t forget to respect nuance and provide a solution).
