Not as in investment but as in you need means to MAKE MONEY as a business. This will come through your service (ideally 1:1 coaching).
If you’ve trained people in person or worked in person in some capacity, how can you translate this into the online space? How can you leverage the experience you have moving forward? If you don’t have experience, the only way to gain it is to….well, get some! We all have a first client. đ
This will be something you develop and refine over time. You have a process no matter if you’ve defined it not. So, take some time to discover this, write it down, and know how to repeat it. Meaning you have a process you take each client through. This is your approach. Not the same PROGRAM for every client. But the same assessments, and tactics overall.
There are many ways to acquire social proof. But the importance is that testimonies show your process WORKS. They’re a testament to your claims. They do the selling for you. And we love them.
Whether hiring more coaches to grow 1:1 or creating more low touch offers, you’ll eventually want to scale your business beyond what you can handle alone with one to one clients.
Starting with 1:1 coaching gives you all of those things in the highest quality I believe. Even if your goal is to eventually build a course or world renowned group training program and community, I still suggest getting 1:1 time with your clients. While I do think we all fit in the same box, and am quite against creating “mini-me” coaches, there are some truths we can all face. You can start with 1:1 and still honor, even hone in on your philosophy and approach as a coach.
âď¸What price point is a win-win (leaving you feeling confident and compensated for your knowledge and service).
âď¸Who do and donât want to work with
âď¸What your gifts and passions are (your future âarea of focusâ as I like to say)
âď¸How you want to your coaching process to go
âď¸The back end systems to use on the tech side
âď¸What things you find yourself repeating that could be automated (things EVERY client needs/experiences) – this can lead to new products, scaling opportunity or just more automation.
You donât have to have 1:1 clients forever. But I do suggest starting with them. The value they can provide you as a coach is unmatched. Youâll learn just as much from them as they will from you. If you’re a coach in the online space now, did you start with 1:1?
