Things you don’t need to make quality content, let’s dive in.
If there is one thing entrepreneurs in the online space love to do, it’s put the cart before the horse. I know I certainly did. But a helpful thing to always remember is that VALUE trumps pretty, or branded, or high quality production forever and ever and amen.
Don’t let the excuse of having a certain setting stop you from sharing what you know and putting yourself out there. Think of yourself as a consumer – don’t you follow people who create content on the go? You love watching their stories? And they’re normal people, with normal bodies, in normal houses? You tell me. I am making an assumption here based on my own experience as a consumer.
Fact is, if you’re waiting to be your fittest, look your best, to take another course, to have that piece of equipment in order to start sharing what you know, shoot those videos, make that content, I encourage you to just do it now.
I have literally NEVER done a shoot or prepared content at my “best physique.” Because typically once it’s time to shoot, I’ve been busting my ass in my business, deep in creation and prep mode for the content, the programs. And that doesn’t = training and nutrition and rest as tip top priorities.
Whatever your reason (and this applies to all humans), be it kids, working two jobs, being in school, having severe acne, in a changing body, being a single parent, having a messy house or “normal kitchen.” These are not excuses. They just ARE. They’re a part of SOMEONE’S process in sharing knowledge, building an audience and a business online.
Provide what you can NOW. That’s how you’ll be successful. By showing up in all seasons, as you are.
P.S. You also don’t need to have had some epic weight loss or transformation to provide value/share knowledge and show compassion. This was a belief I struggled with early on in my coaching career. Don’t let that hold you back either.
Start creating with what you have, be consistent, and tell them Annie sent you.
