It’s hard to look back and recall my expectations in 2015.
But I’ve worked with, witnessed enough biz owners, and received enough question boxes to lay out some clear expectations for starting and growing your biz.
My most successful FitsPROs are curious about themselves.
Every piece of it – building the audience, feeling confident, making money, the website.
Get used to the drawing board. It’s your bff now. You’re learning SO MUCH when starting out.
Your messaging, your audience, how to position yourself.
Count ANY AND ALL WINS from day 1.
Embrace the reps – of free education and of selling with little success.
You won’t build a roster or confidence by not selling.
You only need a few yesses to believe this can happen.
I made $4k my first year of online biz in addition to my in person biz…
Be open to trying A LOT of things and learning what works for you and what doesn’t. Don’t marry anything too early.
GROWTH
With yourself, with technology, with a bit of wheel spinning (the process), with people selling you quick fixes, with the industry, with feeling unheard and unseen.
Money, reputation, brand awareness, standards.
Yes, growing is the goal. We love that for you. But bigger months just challenge your mindfuck spirals and limiting beliefs.
The success might challenge your belief about self worth and it all crumbling down.
Coming from the person who said I’d never hire.
Until I reached my actual ceiling and was like FUCK I cannot grow and do all the day to day tasks in my biz. I need an assistant.
It got me. Guilty as charged.
Very easy to want to pivot, add a podcast, build a funnel etc.
Those things aren’t BAD. But I encourage you to KEEP IT SIMPLE and refine + optimize what is already working or doing the most for your biz BEFORE adding platforms or offers.
