THESE 5 TARTE PRODUCTS ARE THE ONLY MAKEUP I’M TAKING ON WORLD TRAVELS.
If you’re like me, you’d like to wear SOMETHING on your face but not look like you have a full on glam squad. Although a daily glam squad would be amazing as well. I like Tarte because they have vegan product options that serve as a great transition from traditional makeup to a more health conscious choice.

Below you’ll see before (top) and after (bottom) photos of my makeup routine with the five products I am sharing today + mascara. No filters. No skin smoothing additives. Just my bare face. And then my face with my daily makeup comprised of five products from Tarte Cosmetics.
I chose five simply because I cannot be packing a full on makeup studio with me around the world. I need something that is light enough to wear everyday + can pack a little more punch if I have a shoot or want to go full glam.
THAT is what I get with these five Tarte products.
Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation
A little goes a long way. Holy moly, the first time I used this I HATED IT. But that was because I put on WAY too much. I recommend you start with less because you can always add more.
I chose the hydrating version because my skin tends to be dry, especially in colder climates. In hot places I wear Fre Skincare’s Glow me as my foundation.
Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette
Thiiiiissss is my fav. I am a fall color gal. So this palette is amazing for all seasons. I use the golds, yellows, and maroons literally all year round. They offer a warm face and a little glow.
I will likely just take this, and leave the cheek and lip palette home since this eye and cheek palette also has blush and highlighter.
Amazon Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse with Brush
My brows have never looked better. And this will last forever. The clay doesn’t wipe off easily, which is amazing for me, especially for workouts or hot and humid locations.
The brush and clay come together and it’s VERY easy to use.
Bronzer and Highlight Palette
Palettes that serve more than one purpose are LIFE. They’re amazing for everyday use and even better for traveling. Anytime time you can kill two birds with one stone, you’re winning.
I do believe this was a limited time palette, but they have things like this all the time. So with little research, you’ll find something similar.
Drench Lip Splash Lipstick
The most velvety smooth thing I’ve ever put on my lips. Not kidding. This color is actually a bit too pink for me; I prefer more orangey undertones. BUT the product is great quality and has lasted me months.
Not pictured or mentioned are eyeliner and mascara. And that’s because I have yet to find a mascara and liquid felt eyeliner that I love. If you have one, PUHLEASE let ya girl in on the secret.
I won’t share a product I don’t love, and I’ve tried a lot of mascaras and eyeliners in search of the best for the cost, but have not found a winner. So, you get no mascara/eyeliner recommendations my friend.
Here I am wearing some Maybelline mascara, which is too clumpy for me and I don’t recommend it.
Tarte products last a long time. Like I said, a little goes a long way. It seems to be long wear, and gives me a natural look. I don’t feel like I am wearing layers of makeup BUT if I want to go glam, I can certainly make that happen with the products I wear day-to-day.
They are a great option if you’re looking for a cleaner make up option but not making the full jump to all natural and cruelty free.
