This hotel workout can be done in a home or a hotel. Do it anywhere you have a bed, a wall, a chair and a table!
Whether you are traveling this holiday season or not, give this one a go!
I did today’s workout while at a cheerleading competition in California and it was one of the best hotel/home workouts I’ve done. I lived in a hotel for 2.5 months last year when our house flood, so trust me when I say this is a good one!
Perform a tabata of each exercise below.
THAT’s a 35 minute workout and you will be SWEATING + SORE THE NEXT DAY. Like I said, this is NO JOKE.
Bed jumps >> If you don’t feel comfortable, you can do step ups on the to bed.
Switch lunges >> These can be done on the bed or ground. I found the bed to be easier on the joints, more challenging for the balance and the burn! Do walking lunges if these are too advanced.
Chair pistol >> Stand on one leg, sit soft on the chair, stand up with one or two legs depending on level of fitness (one leg is harder)
Chair dips >> Keep elbows straight back – don’t let them flare out. Bend knees to make it easier.
Walk walks >> Walk up as far as you can OR hold a plank for the tabata rather than doing the handstands.
Table rows >> Play with hand placement in order to get the best grip. It will be different table to table. Vito these if you don’t have a table you can use for this and move on to the last exercise.
Full down onto the bed >> OR, jump around, or heck, take a nap. You earned it.
