Gone are the days of skyrocketing to the top on Instagram. So how does one create content that leads to aligned audience growth on the ‘gram? It’s a fair question with the ever-changing algorithms to start and/or continue steady growth.
Managing expectations is very important when using IG for your brand or business. Just like in health and fitness, I am for adherence and finding a frequency you can stick to. In this case, frequency of posting content on the ‘gram. High frequency and a consistent frequency build brand recognition and trust. People don’t come to your page, see you haven’t posted in three months and choose to follow. People just aren’t likely to follow an account who isn’t active.
Think of yourself as a consumer. What type of accounts do you choose to follow? From an objective standpoint, how often do you see their content? Watch their stories? Likely often. For your favorites anyhow.
As I’ll mention in today’s video, if you want to GROW, I really do not believe or anecdotally see how posting twice or even three times per week will lead to legitimate growth on IG…I know it can seem overwhelming but the more posts you get out, the more opportunity you have for reach and therefore growth. We break this down in the training below – How to make more content in the same, or less time, and how to double post frequency for growth and reach if THAT is what you’re here for.
