If you run an online health and fitness business, I can almost guarantee you need consistent output of high quality content on social media. But creating content is a task – one that can feel very draining if you’re doing everything solo in your business. When you have inspiration, you’re like a machine. When you don’t, it’s like pulling teeth.

Today we discuss how to keep up the content production regardless of how you feel.

There are so many parallels between running a business and pursuing health and fitness. I think it’s why I am drawn to the grind of entrepreneurship. Just as I’m drawn to the grind of the barbell.

We follow programs and proven systems for working out. What matters is that we find what works for US – our life, our preference, our season. We don’t depend on motivation and then expect results. (Or we shouldn’t).

Motivation is not consistent or dependable. It’s fickle and fleeting.

Same. Goes. For. Inspiration & Content.

Inspiration is fickle and fleeting. Yet you need consistent content presence to get your desired results (I’m assuming here). We need a repeatable system that you *mostly* enjoy AND works for you.

Options that my 1:1 biz clients have been using and having success with:

  • Planning topics per week and creating the cover photos but writing the captions on the fly, day to day.
  • Full on batching all captions, cover photos and content 2 every two weeks.
  • Committing to only 3 days per week, pre-creating content week to week.

One size doesn’t fit all. Literally ever. In any setting. Create a repeatable system that fits your personality and desires on social media. Mmmk?

But don’t ride or die with inspiration. She’s a flakey bitch.
