If you’re a coach in the online space, you were likely taught to withhold your pricing from your application or website. You get the prospect on a sales call, and that’s where you reveal the price. This never sat right with me. From both a consumer and a coaching standpoint.
I’ve never done a sales call, and never hidden my prices. Why would I? That’s what we’re discussing today.
90% of my business clients don’t hide prices. I’ve converted several of my FitsPRO’s and 100% of my 1:1 biz clients to put their pricing on their site.
Now, no shame if you DO hide your prices. And no shame if you continue to after reading this post. But let us discuss your options moving forward. This assumes you want your prospect to feel like they’re making an empowered and informed decision. Not that they are being convinced or pressured to pay you.
Yes? YES.
🤌🏼List your prices
🤌🏼Put link to apply AFTER prices are listed – ain’t no body applying until they understand the price.
🤌🏼Value must be communicated via a sales page or application.
🤌🏼Price is listed AGAIN on the application.
Ask if they are ready to invest $___ and give options like:
👉Hell yes, get me in yesterday
👉Still a hell yes, but my palms are sweating
👉Yes, but I need more information
None of the options say no. If you have done your job on your sales page/application, you should only be receiving applications that are great fits. The call (if there is one) is simply a confirmation. Not a SALES call. The sale is 95% closed BEFORE the call (if there is one).
🎉The above point is reiterated at the start of the call – “Hi ____, as you saw on the application, the pricing is $___ and today’s call is simply to confirm that we’re a good fit, for me to get a better idea of your history and goals, and for you to ask any questions you might still have.”
BAM – get that shit out in front. No hiding, no convincing, no pressure. Informed. Empowered.
